Copy editing
Copy editing is a deep edit that corrects errors, enhances readability, improves phrasing and clarity, and can apply a consistent style as specified by the customer. It includes English editing and goes a bit deeper by reworking each sentence as necessary to achieve maximum readability. Copy editing also includes rearranging small items if necessary, correcting and commenting on organization, and ensuring that the text is highly readable and ready for publication without further editing. Copy editing does not usually include heavy rewriting, formatting, or thorough fact checking; however, we are happy to provide these upon request for an additional fee, to be agreed upon ahead of the order.
This type of editing is good for a variety of texts. It is primarily intended for documents that will not undergo further editing before publication and will be distributed to either the general public or a specialist audience, such as corporate documents, promotional material, website content, reports, and academic books or book chapters. It is also appropriate for research manuscripts that need a heavier edit that includes reorganization.

Developmental editing
Developmental editing helps you improve all aspects of scientific presentation in your paper. Your paper is carefully reviewed by two editors who are selected for their knowledge of your field. These editors will make edits to and provide advice on your presentation of:

This service includes an English edit, a developmental edit, and a quality edit by a managing editor. With the scientific report, it also includes journal submission advice. Developmental editing orders are returned on a 14-day timeline.
The goals of the service include (but are not limited to):

Our manuscript formatting service helps bring manuscripts and references in line with a target journal’s guidelines. We can also apply another formatting style as specified, such as AMA, APA, etc. We correct all items possible and will leave comments for any remaining items that require attention by the author. Performed on a 4-day timeline. Does not include cutting for length or content, or reformatting of images or figures (this service is described on our Figures Services page.
Price: $130 for most documents up to 12,000 words; hourly for longer documents and other custom formatting work.
